She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, where she served as Chief of Education and was recognized with multiple honors, including Intern of the Year and the Excellence in Obstetrics award.

Dr. Byrne earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master’s in Health Service Administration from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
